Internships

At Shear Boutique, we're committed to nurturing the next generation of fashion entrepreneurs. We offer seasonal internships that require a commitment of two days per week in person. If you're eager to learn and grow in the fashion industry, reach out to us to learn more!

Internship Training Areas:

Operations: Learn the ins and outs of receiving deliveries, checking inventory in our Shopify Point of Sale System, and participating in monthly inventory counts.

Merchandising: Master the art of visual storytelling by organizing merchandise by outfits, brands, categories, and price points.

Sales: Gain hands-on experience in customer engagement, relationship building, and clienteling to provide personalized recommendations.

Marketing: Get creative with managing our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Canva), organizing in-store events and collaborations, and writing compelling product descriptions.

Buying: Delve into the world of retail by understanding market calendars, differentiating between pre-season and in-season purchases, writing purchase orders, retail math, and monitoring monthly open-to-buy figures.
